Absolutely fantastic sushi experience. We have eaten a lot of sushi, from all over. We are very particular about quality, some might call us sushi snobs, and I have to say that not only was the fish fresh and great tasting, they had fish that you can't get at many of the other sushi places. It was expertly prepared AND we enjoyed the wait staff. Everything was top-tier, from Scallops with Foie Gras to Japanese uni from different regions. I highly recommend.

Incredible decor very modern chic Japanese vibe. Excellent service from the moment I walked in the door. Sushi selection is excellent, items I’ve never experienced before. Ora king salmon amazing. Salmon belly same. Freshwater Eel yum. Cocktails also above par. My favorite was the smoked old fashioned. Ask for Lily and say Hi!

Wow. I honestly can't believe some of the negative reviews. This is easily one of the best sushi restaurants in Texas. The food quality is outstanding. The fish is incredibly fresh, the service was exceptional, and every dish was prepared with care. A special shout-out to Rachel for providing amazing service. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. For anyone complaining about the food, service, or timing, I honestly don't understand it. This isn't a fast-food sushi spot or an all-you-can-eat buffet. If that's what you're looking for, you probably won't appreciate what this restaurant offers. This is real sushi made with high-quality ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The meat was so tender it literally fell off the bone, and every dish we ordered was excellent. Without a doubt, this is in my top three sushi restaurants in Texas. I'll definitely be coming back.

We were looking for a quick bite, but Shun by Yama Sushi called our name. It turned out to be the best quick bite ever. We arrived at 5pm, and the hostess was able to immediately seat us. We didn't realize the tables were set with linen and the ambiance was calm. It was exactly what we needed at the end of a hard day that wasn't over yet. We had another three hours to go. The menu was stunning to overwhelming with all the choices that seemed wonderful. We turned our fate over to our server. She did not disappoint. We started with the smoothest sake. Fresh fish arrives daily and the server selected a daily choice for us. 1000% recommend Shun by Yama Sushi.

Beautiful sushi spot, especially the chandelier. Service was friendly and prompt. Waitress had good recommendations for cocktails and food. They have a selection of sushi where they fly in fresh fish from Japan weekly in their special menu. That was my favorite part of the meal, we had the o-toro, salmon, sea bream, and golden snapper. All were outstanding! The sizzling Wagyu rice was my son’s favorite. And I really enjoyed the jumbo shrimp appetizer. Udon and sea bass were delicious too. There are many other unique items on the menu I want to try, will definitely be back!
